Send a fax to Austria from abroad

Use the European site for Austrian fax numbers. Prepare the recipient’s application before you upload it; you do not need an Austrian fax machine.

Use the international number

Use +43 and omit the domestic leading zero. The Vienna area code 01 becomes +43 1. Do not enter +43 01.

Electricity and gas conciliation with E-Control

Check the procedure before sending

RTR’s conciliation for an individual postal item is for the sender, after a written complaint to the carrier. E-Control’s household electricity and gas procedure requires a German-language application. The guides below explain these separate routes.

Prepare your form and attachments

Download the official form, complete it and add the required signature. Export Word forms to PDF or scan the signed pages. Check every attachment before uploading.

How will the recipient reply?

Use your own email or postal address where the form allows it. Faxette does not receive replies by fax. If a return fax number is mandatory, ask the recipient about another accepted channel before paying.

€5 before VAT for up to 100 pages. No account, no subscription. Charged only when delivered.

We count the prepared pages before payment. Check the recipient, page count and total. Your card is held at checkout and charged when the fax is delivered.

Check the recipient’s official instructions for the correct form, signature and attachments. Delivery confirmation records transmission to the receiving fax system; it does not confirm acceptance of an application.
